[B-Greek] to ponder: Rijskbaron doesn't debate a 'paradigm change' on Greek verb

It dawned on me that there is something satisfying about Rijksbaron's
syntax that often gets overlooked.
There is no "paradigm-changing" debate mentioned in Rijksbaron 2006,
only a discussion on focus, choice, and definition of terminology. Greek
scholarship advances in its precision and scope, but Greek scholars are
aware that Willamovitz and Rouse were able to correctly read and
understand Greek, not to mention Jannaris and the Greeks.
One item that bothers me about some threads on this list are questions
that cause misunderstandings by their very nature.
Like the proverbial question, 'when did you stop beating your wife?',
posing a question about a "paradigm change" starts on the wrong
foot, skews the discussion, and leads to confused students. Which
generates confused threads.
So it is nice to read a work like Rijksbaron where such a cloud doesn't
hang over the discussion. It's another point to remember for the list
and one that might be more helpful for the new student than
individual details.
