perhaps its just me- but it seems that a few dollars extra for a book is not
too much to ask. if any of us had lived in the first century we would have
expected to pay something like a years wage merely for a scroll of Ezekiel.
ABS is hardly overpriced at ALL when you compare it to what kids are paying
for college chemistry text books that they will NEVER use again. Further,
when one compares ABS prices to Brill... well, enough said.
Further, if you want to decry the slowness of delivery lets not forget the
ungodly pace of the new BDAG... of the University of Chicago Press.
Promised YEARS ago and sight still unseen.
Count your blessings my friends. ABS could be owned by Brill and it could
have the same editorial staff as U. of Chicago.
Best,
jim
