Wieland, here are a few more idioms for you (some are euphemisms which is a
kind of idiom since we still cannot determine the meaning of the whole from
the literal meaning of the sum of the parts):
Luke 1:12 KAI FOBOS EPEPESEN EP' AUTON
Luke 7:35 SOFIA APO PANTWN TWN TEKNWN AUTHS
Rom 12:20 TOUTO GAR POIWN ANQRAKAS PUROS SWREUSEIS EPI THN KEFALHN AUTOU
1 Cor 7:1 KALON ANQRWPWi GUNAIKOS MH hAPTESQAI
1 Cor 11:30 KAI KOIMWNTAI hIKANOI
I am once again rushed, so cannot give more now, but I hope to list more
later. And I hope others on B-Greek will list more also.
