Dear Moon-Ryul Jung,
I just want to thank you for an excellent description of the function of a
negative. I had sent off my comparison of Greek sentences before I received your
e-mail, but they complement each other nicely. You have a good theoretical
foundation, and I believe you are right. It is probably better to talk about
focus on the noun, rather than the noun being negated. The end result is the
same. I certainly agree with your position on James 2:24.
Thanks,
Iver Larsen
