I don't know about the Story textbook, but I can tell you that Mounce's
textbook took two semesters when I took Greek in college (even then we
were pushing to fit the last chapter in). Although every textbook has
weaknesses, I thought that Mounce's book was pretty well structured. It
focuses on learning some basic rules of morphology, rather than extensive
memorization of paradigms.
