I am not an expert in greek, but its my experience in the languages I
know well, that the meaning of prepositional phrases are closely related
to the verb. I wouldn't feel comfortable with any argument unless

a) it took into account the kinds of prepositional phrases used
      with the verb

b) it examined the meaning of each of the prepositional phrases
      in a variety of contexts. Ideally I would like to see examples
      both within and without the NT.
