Rod Bias's statement that a change of majority-vote between the 3rd
edition of the UBS-GNT and the 4th resulted in the comma replacing the
colon after SARKA in Rom. 9:5 is incorrect.
When the Third Edition was issued in a "Corrected" version in 1983,
the decision was made to abandon in its entirety the punctuation of the GNT
and to replace it in toto with the punctuaion of Nestle-Aland 26. No
decision or vote was taken about this or any other passage. So, from 1983
on, the N-A 26/27 and the UBS 3corr./4 have identical punctuation.
