There IS a nominative absolute!

David Moore has finally given us an indisputable example of the
nominative absolute:

>Wouldn't it be neat if someone came up with a Greek font that would
>read our transliteration scheme. Then we could use a format
>something like the following: *GRA/FWN OU(/TWS,
>A)NAGINW/SKEIN DU/NANTAI PA/NTES.

I don't know about all this font stuff, since I do all my email work
in DOS (not even Windows!), but I sure am glad to have an example
from a respected Greek author to cite whenever this discussion arises
from now on. Thanks, David!

Now back to lurking and working.
