I whole-heartedly agree with Mike Palmer and Ron Ross that this "rule" is
NOT valid. I ran a GRAMCORD search just to check; here are some additonal
places which IMHO don't fit the "rule":

Matt 18:20; 27:33; Mark 14:4; Luke 2:26; 3:23; 5:29; 7:8; 8:40; 9:18...

Well, you get the point...

BTW, I assume Porter did not mean post-positives between EIMI and the Ptc,
since there are lots of examples of those...
