LXX - Theodotion - Aquila Differences

The preface to an LXX that I have says that the LXX translations of the
first century (Aquila, Theodotion) were translated in a highly literal
manner so as to remove the basis for the "proof texts" used by the
Christians from the earlier LXX. It goes on to say that these later LXX
translation pleased the Jews.

What were some of the controversial verses that these later LXX
translations tried to address? I would surmise that it goes farther than
the "PARQENOS" controversy.

Thanks in advance,
Wes Williams
