Hi Scott
Maybe you are thinking of Luke 11:38 "wash before
dinner"? (cf BAPTISMOS washing of cups)
LXX only has two occurences:
2Ki 5:14 Naaman washing in the Jordan
Isa 21:4 ANOMIA ME BAPTIZEI - lawlessness drowns me(?)
As for sprinkle, LXX has RhAINW (Ex 29:21, Lev4:17 etc,
Isa 45:8, Eze 36:25) and RhANTIZW (Lev 6:27 2Ki9:33
Ps 50:9 cf Hebrews 9)
Cheers
S.
