 Would this be an example?
Are you tired of running? I am [tired of running]. implied predicate
Are you the mail carier? I am [the mail carrier]. implied predicate
nominative

Mark 14:61: "Are you the Christ the Son of the Blessed One?"
Mark 14:62 "I am" [the Christ the Son of the Blessed One].

 Is this what you mean??

Grant,

The article I was quoting from is "Ego Eimi in John 1:20 and 4:25." Edwin D.
Freed. CBQ 41, 1979.

And yes, when I speak of an implied predicate, I am saying that the predicate
has to be supplied from the context. E.g., I am [the Messiah].
