In the interests of decreasing bandwidth and whittling away the size of
archives, might we URGE respondents to list messages to prune back the
amount of material from previous messages cited in your response? Most mail
programs make it easy enough to delete any items from previous posts cited
that are not relevant to understanding the point you're making in your own
new message.

ALL' hOMWS EREI TIS ... "it's only a few thousand electrons that fly
through space with the greatest of ease." True, but it accumulates rapidly
in a mailbox on a hard drive.
