Apologies for cross posting-
In this day of specialization, when Biblical scholars tend to focus on one
area of expertise, the web has seen a proliferation of discussion lists
reflecting this era of specialization.
The purpose of this list is to allow the interested person to post questions
regarding the whole gamut of Biblical Studies. Archaeology, linguistics,
exegesis, history, textual issues, all are legitimate areas of inquiry for
this list. Academic or simple questions are allowed. All are welcome to
participate; Veteran scholar or interested layperson; cleric or lay;
Protestant, Catholic, or Jew.
However, inappropriate posts; unkind comments; or spam of any sort will not
be tolerated. Offenders will be removed from the list.
So- all those questions you have wanted to ask but couldn't- should be
posted here.
Welcome and enjoy.
