Hi Richard,

It seems (I say "seems" being an amature...) that KAINOS is an adjective
something close to English "new", and ANAKAINOW a verb close to "REnew".

KAINOS:

2 Corinthians 3:6 "the NEW testament"

        Ephesians 4:24 "the NEW man"

ANAKAINOW:

2 Corinthians 4:16 "the inward (man) is REnewed"

Colossians 3:10 "put on the new (NEOS) man, which
is REnewed in knowledge after the image..."

...with ANA serving as a prefix to verbs, rendering a meaning of "up,
back, or again" (Fribergs).
