The Vulgate uses virgo. One must be careful about this as Jerome's opinion
of the Hebrew however. He was revising an existing Latin translation with
reference to the Hebrew. This particular verse was well entrenched as
virgin in meaning by Jerome's time given the acrimonious debates on the
topic. (See Dialogue with Trypho). We know that Jerome was not able to
change much in the Psalms because of the entrenched usage of the Septuagint
form in the Church. I suspect the same will be true in this verse of
