SU DE RURIE ANTILHMPTWR MOU EI DOXA MOU KAI UPSWN THN KEFALHN MOU
I looked up ANTILHMPTWR in the LSJ at Perseus, and nothing. I did a
backward search of "sheild" and found 102 entries, but this word was not
among them. Can anyone give me an analysis of this word?
Port Orchard WA
Have the very large paper edition of LSJ at hand courtesy my university.
There is an entry for ANTILHMPTWR which says see ANTILH-PTWR. This is under
ANTI-LHPTEOV entry, says 'helper, protector' giving LXX reference 2 Kingss
22:3. It also says that ANTILHMPTWR is later.
Hope this helpful and no-one has already given the same information.
