Hallo there, I am new to this net and do appreciate the exchange so far. As for the question on adoption, if one is ready to look in church fathers etc, way beyond the Gospel itself, I, coming from the Jewish corner, would advocate looking into the Rabbinic traditions. One might start with the marriage document "The Ketubah". and thevarious promisses made by the bride concerning their mutual as well as her (and not his) children. I am aware that beeing a new commer this responce might come late so I stop here. and am looking forward to the coming conversations.
