2003 Cabinet

Highlights of the 2003 season included performances by violinist Sarah Chang, tenor Jerry Hadley, pianist Misha Dichter, and conductor Keith Lockhart. The season finale concert, conducted by Artistic Director David Effron, featured Sibelius's Symphony No. 2 and Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante with soloists Glenn Dicterow and Karen Dreyfus.

A new chamber music series offered programs in the concert hall of the Porter Center at Brevard College. Bright Sheng was BMC's composer-in-residence for 2003. Guest artist for the annual National Federation of Music Clubs Concert was tenor Daniel Weeks, 1999 NFMC Young Artist winner.
