They never get decent electrical fun stuff, and there's not
much furniture either. If you're making the rounds from
Tryon Hills up to American
Way, then Goodwill is only two
blocks out of your way--just turn left onto Hargett Street
at the Police Station and go west a couple of blocks--and
it's not a big deal to stop by. But don't go out of your way.
There is another Goodwill in North Raleigh, a little ways
off of Old Wake Forest Road. When Wake Forest tries
to turn into Falls of the Neuse, veer right onto Old Wake
Forest, and then take your next right at the Japanese
restaurant and brassiere shop. It's ahead on the left.
I used to get good records at that one, but that sort of
petered out. There is very little else there. If you're in
the neighborhood and have time to kill, go, but not for any
other reason.
