Software Applications Developer, UC BERKELEY, CA
8/91-6/93, 4/89-7/90
Working for TAP, UCB's version of a temp agency, I installed projects for several departments, using word processing, relational database and spreadsheet software.

At the Space Sciences Lab, I created a dBASE'd inventory system of parts and supplies. (Would you believe there's such a thing as a "Universal Coincidence Detector?")

For Small Business Development, I updated an EXCEL directory of minority businesses to route some of the University's enormous purchasing power to the more individual strata.

For Facilities and Management, I installed a UCB BEARS job control system to minimize the number of forms maintenance personnel had to fill out to screw in a light bulb.

At the Institute for Transportation Studies, I conjoined a range of software that coordinated CalTrans lectures by affiliated experts at locations throughout California. It broke up traffic jams.
