The Chapel Hill Historical Society sponsors programs, lectures, and
special events throughout the year, directed toward its goal of
“making the past present” for the residents of
Chapel Hill
and the surrounding community. Monthly programs
about interesting persons and places are free and open to the public.

Winter and Spring Programs
As more programs are
developed for the 2007-08 year, notice will be given on the website, in the
newsletter, and in mailings to Society members. Programs are usually held
on Sunday afternoons in the Society Office at
523 East Franklin Street
. The first
program of the year presented the history of the Carrboro/Chapel Hill
Farmer’s Markets.
