Vermont Department of Education -- This site includes valuable information on teaching strategies in the Vermont area within the realms of Technology, Mathematics, Biology, and other issues.
Wilding Heritage Forum, located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, is a conservation and education centre devoted to the conservation of rare and heritage breeds of farm aniamls. Also provides information on visiting the conservations centre--great for school trips!
The St Louis Science Center has put together an informative and useful site including topics such as ecology and environment, humanity, technology, and space sciences. They maintain a global perspective and regional emphasis. Of particular interest to mathematics teachers is their integration of mathematics in each of the four subject areas named above.
Project on the Nile -- A classroom project dealing with the science and social studies of the Victoria Nile in Uganda, Africa. One section allows students to particpate in a weekly "clue hunt" (for free).
