We're renovating ... in particular the Teacher's Lounge which, in its new incarnation, will be more clearly
defined and less cluttered. So, for the moment, please excuse any
stylistic changes you see. We'll take any comments or questions you have to make.
In an effort to keep you updated as to what has been added recently, we at
the Cisco Educational Archives offer this
handy-dandy weekly reference guide. Keep checking back weekly for our
finds, which are all stored under each respective topic (hotlinked for your
convenience).
If you would like to send us nifty pointers, information on your school,
or comments in general, please send mail to cearch@metalab.unc.edu or
use our mail form.

NewsDEN is an interactive, current events
center for students. They cover local, national (Canadian) and international stories
each week. Each story is accompanied by a quiz, a straw poll, glossary of terms,
graphical summary and peer discussion group. The only caveat is that you must
register to use the full sum of their resources; however, registration is free. Very
well done and easy to navigate.
Smithsonian Institution -- "Many people come to the
Smithsonian Institution expecting to find one building filled with all of the
collections. But as you will see, it is really an enormous network of people and
activity, museums, and art galleries, research projects, and special performances."
-- [from the introduction by Michael Heyman, secretary of the Smithsonian
Institution]
Barbara's World Tour -- featuring art
