In an effort to keep you updated as to what has been added recently, we at the Cisco Educational Archives offer this handy-dandy weekly reference guide. Keep checking back weekly for our finds, which are all stored under each respective topic (hotlinked for your convenience).

If you would like to send us nifty pointers, information on your school, or comments in general, please send mail to cearch@metalab.unc.edu or use our mail form.

Updating and Improving

We're currently working on a new design and layout for the CEARCH pages, so if by chance you encounter a link that fails to work, please send mail to cearch@metalab.unc.edu and let us know what page(s) failed to be found. Thanks!

Please Note: The CEARCH eXcite search engine is (still) temporarily unavailable. The indexing process has been interrupted several times and therefore has been unable to keep track of what has been added to the files within our directories. The sysadmins of metalab are looking into the problem and we will let you know when it is fixed and back in running order. All apologies for any type of inconvenience this may cause.

The new metalab search engine may be found off of this page: http://metalab.unc.edu/search/ but it is not CEARCH specific. You may receive documents which are not under the CEARCH directories. There will soon be a unique CEARCH search when the indexing process is finished - and of course, we will let you know as soon as it is ready.

Schools on the Net

Did you know that we have a listing of school districts and state agencies under the top-level page of our schools listing? Take a look and tell us what you think!

Career Development

  • University of Arkansas has their College of Education on-line; included in this listing are sections for students (graduate and undergraduate), information for parents and teachers, and a plethora of well-researched educational resources and information. Wow!
  • 1997 NEH Summer Seminars and Summer Institutes for School Teachers - Ah! With topics that can make even the most hardened educator drool with joy. I sure wish I could get to go to these - make the most of your summer with a course that's exciting and fun and, for the most part, government-sponsored.
