display past history of
computers and technology and how they affect our lives on this
planet (and others). One can take virtual tours of exhibits and
displays, be privy to special events advertised online, and more.
Best of all, one can select the manner in which one views the site -
streamlined for kids, students, adults, and educators. Excellent site!
The Mid-Atlantic Eisenhower
Consortium for Mathematics & Science Education - their website is
mainly for math and science educators in the Delaware, District of
Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West
Virginia areas. "The ... content is focused on the critical themes in
education reform - curriculum, instruction, assessment, professional
development, equity, technology - hence the site appeals to a much broader
