Martin R. Delany
A fact-filled site about an extraordinary man. Delany lived from 1812 - 1885 and was a doctor, teacher, explorer, author, and civil rights activist. This site has a section for teachers and parents, along with all the information you would need to add Delany to a lesson plan.
