Newsroom etiquette...

Internships are a trial period for both prospective employers and prospective employees. They give both parties a chance to "try each other out" before sealing the deal.

As an intern, you should look beyond the "notch" on the résumé and take advantage of the chance to develop specific skills while drawing on others' professional experience and advice.

When you are new to any environment , it is helpful to get aquainted with how things are done and what other people will expect of you.

Newsroom etiquette, quite simply, is the way to act and treat others in the newsroom.
