Calling Notes:

In the modified chevron, both of you are doing the primary role of the chevron to cross on your own personal diagonal then fall back into your partner's spot. Right-end dancer (women) cross through the center before the left-end dancer (men). This is sort of like a half-figure eight but always facing the same way, and turning the loop in the middle into a hard angle.
