Scouting Report: JazzyJ [JazzyJDT@aol.com]
High scoring shooting guard who may need to convert to PG in the pros. Listed at 6'4" -- may be as short as 6'2". Originally declared for '97 draft, but withdrew and came back for senior season. Put up basically the same numbers despite having an X on his back as the #1 option all season long. Definitely more a scorer than a shooter as the low field goal/3-pt percentages will attest to. Will struggle with the longer NBA 3-pt line. Could use a course in shot selection at times. Has a good build and plays heady for the most part. Will need to improve his ballhandling somewhat. May be best as a 3rd guard type who can provide an offensive spark off of the bench (must like he did his sophmore year at Tech). Looks like a late 1st/early 2nd round pick pending performance in Chicago. Made the right choice coming back though.
