Scouting reports

Scout: Phil Nation

A starter throughout his college career, Kris Clack has good NBA size, but questionable skills offensively.

Clack makes his mark with his solid defense, excellent rebounding for his size, and his ability to play on the low post. He is a good athlete, and he knows how to use his athleticism. Defense is not much of a concern; he should be able to guard N BA shooting guards.

Offense is where questions abound about Clack. He is strong enough to post up most shooting guards and even some small forwards. However, his perimeter game is a major question mark. He is a streaky shooter, and is better taking the ball to the basket than shooting from outside. He can create his own shot going off the dribble.

I look for Clack to be a second round pick. His defense will be enough to earn him a look from someone, and his athleticism might be enough to be a valuable reserve for someone.
