Scouting Reports

Ed Cota is a very flashy player, but even so his passes are usually nice.   He was one of the greatest point guards in the history of the ACC (considering he started in 3 final fours).  His size may hurt his draft potential, but most point guards are  small.  He's very good at penetrating and he's a clutch shooter.  He can hit the 3-pointer when he attempts it, but he's more of a guy who will beat you from his dribble penetration.  At the NBA Camps, I heard he did very well...you can suspect that he will move up greatly because of his performance in the camps;  I will predict him in the 20's.  Cota has the tendenacy to travel and palm the ball...but he can get away with that in the NBA.  Cota has the leadership and the skills to have a very good NBA career.
