Additional Information
He had a shot to be a sleeper in the first round a month ago but now he has slipped to deeper in the second by not standing out in Chicago.
Andy Katz - ESPN.com (June 11th)
Bowman struggled with his shot, making just three of his first 19 attempts, leaving scouts wondering whether he was skilled enough to play the small forward. He did well enough on the glass, but at 214 pounds with a reach of only eight feet, eight inches, he probably would need to play on the wing.
Mike DeCourcy - The Sporting News (June 6th)

Strengths: Rebounding is the main strength of Bowman's but most importantly he rebounds the most important rebounds which are offensive boards ... Plays solid positional defense due to his good lateral quickness .... Finishes well around the basket although it most be noted that he gets most of his points on put-backs and dunks ... Runs the floor well has no problem keeping up with point guards ... Plays within himself knows what his limits are offensively doesn't really try to force shots ... Draws contact and gets to the line a good number of times during a game ... Has started to develop some post moves with his back to the basket .... Has developed some good rebounding techniques such as box-out's and anticipation of which side the ball will go to ... Has shown some that he will get on the floor and hustle when he really wants it ...

Weakness: Could really stand to add about 25 pounds to his skinny frame at 211 he'll be pushed in the lane all night ... Offense is still a work in progress although he has worked on it some ... Hasn't always proved to be dedicated to being a better player so one has to wonder if he has the work ethic ... Sucsectiable to double teams doesn't really recognize them and isn't a good enough passer to pass out of them ... Upper body strength definitely needs some work often he had problems setting position in the lane because of this .. Not a quick leaper which hurt him from being a successful shot-blocker ... Doesn't always play consistent one night he plays like he's unstoppable and the next night he's as quiet as a church mouse ...
