Students Write September 11th Commemorative Magazine
by Jennifer Griffiths

Some UNC Chapel Hill students are expressing their horror about September 11th in a unique way.

Professor Chuck Stone's writing class compiled articles and essays about the terrorist attacks into a magazine called "Phoenix."

Chuck Stone told his class, "I want you students to write about it because it's a big event in American history. It's the enormity of the event and I want you to show that we can recover, that we are resilient people and that's what democracy is all about. And they wrote beautiful stories."

You can pick up a copy of "Phoenix" in Student Stores for $3.
