Field Goal Lifts Heels over Duke

A Dan Orner field goal with four seconds remaining
in the game gave UNC a 23-21 win against Duke,
for Carolina's 13th consecutive win of the series.
Early on, Jacque Lewis danced into the end zone
to give the Heels a 7-0 lead.
Lewis would finish the game with 102-yards rushing,
the Heels first 100-yard rusher in a game.
Late in the fourth, with Carolina up 20-14, Duke's
Senterrio Landrum roped in a 33-yard pass to put
the Devils ahead 21-20.
Duke fans smelled victory in the air, but Carolina
would have one last chance to score.
With four seconds left in the game, Dan Orner
converted a 47-yard field goal to give the Heels
a 23-21 victory.
