I give up…

Tuesday, November 28th, 2006

Not on this blog (though you wouldn’t know it by the lack of updates), but on trying to stay up on games in general. There’s just too much to pay attention to these days. I don’t have the money to buy a Wii or a XBox 360, but I don’t have the time to play with them anyway. Even if I was considering a PS3, I certainly don’t have the cash to pick up an HDTV anytime soon to make use of it (so far, Blu-Ray seems to be its main advantage). And I still have five games sitting around waiting for me to be done with class projects.
So that’s it. I’m not even going to worry anymore what the hot new release is and try to remember what the hell its name was when I finally finish the last six games I want to try out. When I want something new to play, I’ll just lurk around the net and see what people are talking about that day, because I can’t freaking stand it anymore. There are just too many things to play and too little time.

Sigh.

uwe boll beats the crap out of nerds…

Tuesday, November 21st, 2006

Well this is old, but I thought I had posted this… so um…

SOMETHING FROM THE VAULTS OF dan.lucas! *cough*

via Kotaku.

It would seem that not only is Uwe Boll a horrible director, he’s also a spiteful bully. He challenged a bunch of his critics to a boxing match which he promised was just a PR stunt. He said he would give them some basic training and even then they would just be playing around in the ring.

He then proceeded to give them no training and went for knockouts. What a jerk.

Still, I’m a bit disappointed. I was hoping one of the critics would secretly be a decent fighter and just knock the crap out of him. That didn’t happen, but I can take solace in the fact that no matter how many flabby internet nerds he beats down, he will still be a terrible director.
