LIST ETIQUETTE 1) always trim reply quotes 2) please do not send attached files of any kind to the list; instead announce in your email any URL's to files you want people to see/hear/read or distribute them on request by private email 3) advertising is OK within signatures or included discretely within message text as long as it is informational and useful to market farmers, i.e. a special product or service - it's pretty easy to determine the difference between a simple tasteful ad and spam 4) If discussion of activism and activist strategies is desired by all means do it. What seems to clog up the list is constant crossposting of activist news, calls-to-action and updates from other lists and newsgroups, items not necessarily related to biogarden. Some is OK, more would probably be considered by most as being off-topic. Lawrence F. London, Jr. ICQ # 27930345 lflondon@mindspring.com london@ibiblio.org http://www.ibiblio.org/ecolandtech
