This may be old news to some of you, but I came across a review of the
following book recently, and thought it looked like a useful resource:

Future Harvest: Pesticide-Free Farming
by Jim Bender, a farmer in Cass County, Nebraska

According to the review, Bender's book focuses on weed management through
use of crop diversification and rotation, altering planting times, managing soil
moisture and surface residues and altering seeding rate.
