The Agricultural Research Service (USDA) National Agricultural Library, Beltsville, Maryland 20705-2351,
has just published (Sept.’98) an annotated bibliography “Vegetables and Fruits: A Guide to Heirloom
Varieties and Community Based Stewardship.” SRB 98-05, compiled by Suzanne P. DeMuth (285 pages).
This incredible 3 volumn bibliography is available by writing to USDA, ARS National Agricultural Library
and sending a self-addressed return mailing label. The three volumns list summaries of books, articles,
videos, internet sites, resource organizations, historical bibliographies, etc.
