Is there a ftp site, I could download it from ? ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 20 Feb 1992 09:18:10 EST From: "James M. Macknik" Subject: Notation-reading programs Forwarded message from jmmac%CONNCOLL.bitnet@auvm.american.edu: Mr Roth: I am curious about the type of musical notation recognition program you mentioned. I am a sophmore undergrad at Conn. College and am interested in doing research in the area of Artificial Intelligence as it relates to music and in the field of music notation and how it can be improved. If you know of any way that I could get a hold of such a program (in whatever condition, working or not) I would be extremely grateful. I am curious to see what could be done in the area and what has already been done. Please forward any information you have to me. Mr. Fosco: I am interested in the program that YOU mentioned done at MIT. Do you have any ideas about whether the program is ready for market, whether it is bein marketed, or how I could get a copy of the program from MIT? If so, please respond. James M.
