Hi, I'm currently in the market for a (cheap) 16:2 mixer. In particular, the Studiomaster Diamond 16:2. Does anyone have any recommendations/alternatives or is this a good choice? Thanks, john.. -- jat5@unix.york.ac.uk http://www.york.ac.uk/~jat5/ _______________________________________________________ ------------------------------------------------------- "Music has overtaken poetry because people are afraid of silence." - J. I own one for about 1 year now and it just what the ads say. I would highly recommend it, it's small, silent and very solid ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 22 Jul 1994 07:54:25 -0700 From: jk Subject: Re: 16 channel mixer... help? }>Hi, }> I'm currently in the market for a (cheap) 16:2 mixer. Simply, there is no better mixer at this price/performance point available at this time. The new Yamaha looks like it'll be something special, but it won't be cheap (has motorized faders/automation/etc.). The 1604 is a tight board though, so if you're not using for your personal studio or rig, some might prefer a larger mixer (so they don't get their fat fingers stuck between the knobs) ;-) _ -john ___ __/ | ___ | | JKrikawa@CCIT.Arizona.Edu | |___ ________ \______/ \__________ Tucson, AZ ___../\./\/ \____/ \____ ------------------------------ End of the EMUSIC-L Digest ******************************
