The important point it is bundled with Sound Edit 16 and TRAX all for $49.95. I'm thinking of buying it just to get SoundEdit 16. It would also add another MIDI IN and OUT via nubus, giving me 48 channels with my Studio 3. All in all a deal i cannot loose on, i feel. Hmmm. Just thought i'd pass it on. -AFC -- Arne F. Chris is behind the drums and a tape deck not plugged in, no sound. Everybody's waiting to play. He hits it again. Nothing. I yell at him. He hits it again. Nothing. Then we smash our gear and walk offstage!" ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 24 Aug 1994 11:34:03 -0700 From: "Shawn T. IT does play 16-bit samples on an 8-bit mac and let's you do the cut and paste thing... Ho hum... Forget it, i'll just have to save up for the Audiomedia II w/ SoundDesigner... -- Arne F. Hi, I'm Bouwe de Jong from Holland and I'm a new on this list and I have a few questions: Who has experience with soundmodules (or soundcards) of Roland (or another brand) and is able to tell me the advantages and disadvantages of the different types? (Roland JV 880 with orchestral expansion, Sound Canvas, the E-Series etc or soundcards like Gravis Ultrasound, Soundblaster AWE etc.) To have good sounds and also the possibility to change them and to sample - which is the one to buy? I'm mainly looking for modules with good 'classical' instruments. Thanks in advance for your reaction. In Holland I would highly recommend the services of: High Tech Hilversum, tel: 035-211811 or E-mail them at hightech@knoware.nl >To have good sounds and also the possibility to change them and to sample - >which is the one to buy? you want it all..! forget about the others, try Kurzweil's K2000..= To have good sounds and also the possibility to change them and to sample - which is the one to buy? >I'm mainly looking for modules with good 'classical' instruments. > >Thanks in advance for your reaction. ...somebody had to do it... good luck!
