I am currently a win user but am not apposed to using apple if it is truly better. I know some of you use lap tops and I would greatly appreciate your evaluation of both systems. I dont really use it for performing but mostly for composition using Finale. Could some of you reccomend possible setups, sound cards, ect... I am looking at spending aprox $3,000 US. Tel: (02) 719 12 52 Email: gdepaep@be.oracle.com Hello, Can anyone give me information on whether it is possible to use the pc-speaker for audio ouput, like e.g. wave-files? I suppose it is possible for wave-files if you have the correct driver. What driver is required and is it available somewhere (ftp?). Is it so that the MIDI-mapper is then needed to tell the system that the generated sound should be sent to the pc-speaker and not to a soundcard? Is it then possible to send the output of a soundcard (e.g. AWE32) to the pc-speaker, in order to hear midi files etc through it? Any information is welcome, thanks.
