That's great, thank Carl! I'll check it out!
As for the move..... (I have to begin with a disclaimer first...)
I have 2 Macs, 2 486's and a P-90...... well, and an Atari 1040 ST. Most
of the computers are for use at my office.... same old, you kow. The
truth is, that until recently, the software, and the CPU's of the Mac, and
the IBM systems were out of price range AND not as fast as my little
Atari.

I've been using that for about 3 years, before that was Editrack Pro, and
before that I had a SQD-1.... remember that?

So, the Logic program is great, but the recording and editing features on
Cakewalk are fabulous.... (plus I got A review copy gratis). In Cakewalk
you can set the quantize to record clocks based on pulse, which means with
a little work, you can lock in your beat a lot easier that with Logic.
Logic on the Atari is noweher near the P-90 so it's not a fair comparison,
but I know that software inside and out, and the Cakewalk beats it hands
down... just in my opinion..
I have a IBM version of Logic coming, so I'll tell you what I think when I
get my Cyrix 150 chip running with that....

Plus the Pro Cakewalk has great Audio recording....
What do oyu thik of Logic compared to Cakewalk....?

Appreciate any feedback....

As an all-round workhorse synth module, I don't think you'll find better
for the price.

I can also recommend the orchestral expansion board for a variety of
natural sounds.

I, the co-listowner, think that this is a fine question for SYNTH-L but that
the crosspost to EMUSIC-L was out of line. I'll give you an answer over on
SYNTH-L, but I want this thread on EMUSIC-L stopped right here.

Hi,David. It's probabably a good place to find people with similar interests,
but fan-type stuff is not exactly frowned on but sort of declasse'. Concert
reviews (if balanced, noy just adulatory) are always interesting. And
discussion of the applications of things learned from an artist's music
(as in, musical stuff, not so much "life lessons") are always good.

When it came, it was testet in every mag and they all sounded pretty sure that this was going to be a hit
and that it would make the price of a used 909 hit bottom (again).

Did this ever happen (I mean, has anyone bought it) and is it the big hit we expected it to be?

If you answer is no, then why?

I look forward to having some nice discussions with y'all......
