My newest, and quite possibly my best, recording December Impressions is now available at http://www.mp3.com/mattborghi Darkly atmospheric, and greatly inspired by the works of Robert Rich, J. Sloan, Stephen Philips, Hypnos, particularly James Johnson, and Vidna Obmana, as well as Robert Carty, December Impressions is an 11 sequence work that would've been one long-running piece, but Mp3.com time constraints led me to cut it down. This is also some of my best work sonically, as I've been experimenting with mixing, mastering, and other post-production techniques quite a bit over the last six months. Those of you that are familiar with my work will be glad to FINALLY have a good "headphone" record that doesn't have noise, hiss, or off levels. I would appreciate any positive feedback that anybody has on my new work. To my friends in radio and the press, please let me know if you're interested in obtaining a copy of December Impressions, as I have copies available. One last thing...Thank you. Thank you to everyone that has helped me in the last year, from For Running Time, a year ago, to Huronic Minor this passed fall. Thank you all. Special thanks to Jim Brenholts for his undying support, Brannan Lane, Forrest Fang (Gongland is a fantastic recording that needs more exposure, check it out: http://www.projekt.com), my friend (and personal advocate) Bill Binkelman, Dan from Cyber Zen Sound Engine, Howard at Spotted Peccary, M. Griffin at Hypnos, everyone in radio that bothered to play my early attempts and anyone in the press that bothered to give my work positive reviews, despite the early work's sonic anomalies. Also thank you to all of the folks on the Ambient@hyperreal list, the Spacemusic/Yahoogroups list, the E-Music List, the other Yahoogroups, and the newsgroups. I'm sure that I'm forgetting some folks, but just the same THANK YOU and I'm extremely grateful to have your support. m a t t b o r g h i mattborghi@prodigy.net http://www.mp3.com/mattborghi
