Library of Congress 2005 Selected Recordings

In 2000, the National Recording Preservation Act, was established. This act requires the Library select recordings each year that are “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant.”
I find it heartwarning and lovely that among the 2005 selections are both Varese’s “Poem Electronique” and Zappa’s “We’re Only In It For The Money”, as Zappa was a big fan [...]
