Listed here are the 281 books and recordings that have been added to the index since the previous November 2008 edition.

Printed Sources - Some 57 books, folios, and instruction material with songs have been added. Some titles of interest include Hazel Dickens' "Working Girl Blues"; listings of text and/or notation of songs from the first 9 volumes of the Journal of American Folklore Society; Betty Smith's book, Jane Hicks Gentry, a Singer Among Singers (Gentry was one of the North Carolina singers collected by Cecil Sharp); and Vivian Williams's Haynes Family Manuscript, which documents the dance music (fiddle tunes) played by the Oregon Pioneer Settlers in the upper Willamette Valley.
