Survey Response Statistics

You will find different statistics on the invitation and responses of the survey in this page. All the date on the x axes of the graphs were determined by the clock on the web server that the survey was conducted. Since the location of the server was Melbourne, the clock was set to GMT +10:00.

A log table was setup in the database server within the web server to track the login statistics and data for the graphs were obtained from building SQL queries on relevant tables of the database.

Round 1

In round 1, 141 email invitations and 136 email reminders were sent. Since the details of participants were mostly obtained from the web. Only some of the contact telephone numbers of the participants were available. Therefore, 52 phone calls were made for the round 1. Out of these calls, only 10 calls succeeded in establishing a conversation. Messages were left on answering machine on 22 calls. There were no contact established in 15 calls and 5 phone numbers that were incorrect or outdated.

There were in total 74 no. of successful logins from 47 individuals with 27 repeated logins.

There were 26 people gave answers and according to the SQL query there were 3 occasions that some individual went back into the survey to give more answers. Out of those 3 occasions, two individuals gave answers on 03/07 and 17/07 respectively just before midnight in GMT +10:00 and they finished the survey after midnight and they were counted as "comebacks". So that was only 1 occasion of "real" comeback.
