- A Facebook application is polling users on the the new site layout . So far, just over 5% of the nearly 800,000 respondents give it a thumbs up. The rest go the other way. Users can also leave comments with their thoughts. Recent user comments include “Missing so many features I used to adore. I am saddened,” “Please change it back to the way it was,” and “I hate it and if it doesn’t change I will only check it once in awhile.” Ah, the fickle user.
- Backlash Against The New Facebook Design Surges to New Levels
- When Facebook decided to launch the new design last week, they received very little feedback in contrast to the previous redesign which went through substantial user testing over the period of months. To start, the New Layout Vote application that I wrote about yesterday has surged to over 2.16 million monthly active users despite Facebook’s attempts to decrease its spread by limiting invites to two users per day.

- Zuckerberg is a real leader because he doesn’t care what anyone thinks. He’s going to do what he thinks is best for his business. I wish Silicon Valley had more like him.
