jstat - displays job status information

SYNOPSIS

       jstat [-a | -j jid] -l -p

DESCRIPTION

The jjssttaatt command displays information for active jobs.

The jjssttaatt command accepts the following options:

--aa Displays information about all jobs.

--jj job_id Displays information only for the
                           specified job ID (jid).

--ll Displays limit information about the
                           specified job including the current
                           usage, current limit, and maximum
                           limit (not currently implemented).

--pp Displays information about each pro
cess that belongs to the job including
the process ID, state, and executing
                           command. Memory limits information is
                           displayed in bytes.

If neither the --aa or --jj option are specified it is assumed
that the job in question is for the current process.

If no options are specified, the jjssttaatt command will return
the current jid, user name of the job owner, and primary
(oldest) command for that job. The job ID is printed out
       in hexadecimal.

            %% jjssttaatt

            JID OWNER COMMAND
            --------------- -------------- --------------
            0x17 dan -ksh

If the --jj option with a jid argument is specified, the
jjssttaatt command will return summary information for the
entered job: jid, owner, and command. The jid argument is
expected in hexadecimal. The "0x" prefix is optional.

            %% jjssttaatt --jj 00xxaabb000011ff0000000000000000bbaa1144

            JID OWNER COMMAND
            ------------------ -------------- --------------
            0xab001f000000ba14 janet -csh

If the --pp option is specified, the jjssttaatt command will
print out information for each process that belongs to

PIDs, PPIDs, and COMMAND information for the job. Summary
       information is always printed.

            %% jjssttaatt --pp

            JID PID PPID COMMAND
            ------------------ -------- -------- --------------
            0xab001f000000ba14 2225 2308 -csh
            0xab001f000000ba14 2350 2225 jstat -p

If the --aa option is specified, the jjssttaatt command prints
out information for all jobs on the system.

            %% jjssttaatt --aa

            JID OWNER COMMAND

            0xab001f000000ba14 janet -csh
